12 minutes is a standard arch from the Starter Kit. Your first build will take longer. The build videos further down show every step at normal speed.
How it works
Connect. Create. Inflate.
The kit is a set of rigid EZ Tubes and connectors with a high-powered electric pump. The balloons clip onto the tubes, so the shape is built before anything is inflated. That is what makes it a hire business rather than a craft: one person, one van, several displays a weekend.

How bookings are shared: a web booking goes to the nearest listed operator to the customer's postcode. Where two operators are close, bookings alternate. An operator can decline a job and it passes to the next nearest. Where there is no operator nearby, the customer can hire a kit by post direct from us. We don't publish earnings figures because what you make depends on how many hires you do and what your local market pays.

Balloons work only with the ArchUp / Totali EZ system and are refillable. They can't be deflated once sealed, so each display is a single use of balloons. Register your interest and we'll send UK pricing as soon as it's confirmed. An XL add-on kit for larger displays will follow in 2027.

What a sales call would tell you
Is this a franchise?
No. There's no franchise agreement, no territory, no management fee and no royalty. You buy a package, you're listed on this site as an official operator, and you keep everything you earn. You can stop whenever you like and keep your kit.
How do bookings reach me?
Customers book on this website. Each booking goes to the nearest listed operator to the customer's postcode. You get the job by email and text, confirm within 24 hours, and it's yours. You can decline and it passes to the next nearest.
What if another operator is close to me?
Bookings alternate between you. There are no exclusive areas, so we don't promise anyone a patch, but we also don't stack operators in one town; new listings go where the bookings are coming from.
What does the customer pay, and to whom?
The hire price is set nationally; £195 for a standard arch is the launch figure. The customer pays a booking fee to ArchUp online and the balance to you on installation. Your booking confirmation shows both amounts, so there's no ambiguity at the door.
What does ArchUp charge me per job?
A fixed £30 booking fee on jobs that come through this website, taken from the customer's online payment, so it never comes out of your pocket on the day. Jobs you find yourself cost you nothing. Founding Operators pay no fee on their first ten web bookings.
What do I actually need to do on a job?
Deliver the kit, clip the balloons on in the customer's colours, connect the tubes, run the pump, and leave. Come back after the event to collect the hardware. A standard arch is about 12 minutes once you've done a few; your first will take longer.
Where do I get balloons?
From us, at operator pricing. We hold UK stock in all five finishes and post within two working days. Balloons only work with this system, which is also why no one can undercut you with a cheaper arch on the same kit.
Do I need to be VAT registered or a limited company?
No. Most operators start as sole traders. Register with HMRC for self-assessment, get public liability insurance, and you're set. We quote all operator prices including VAT for that reason.
Can I sell the kit or pass the business on?
Yes. The kit is yours outright. If you stop, you can sell it to anyone, including another operator; we'll just remove your listing.
What if the kits arrive late?
Founding Operator kits dispatch the week shown in the offer. If we miss it by more than 14 days, your deposit or finance is refunded in full.
